This 75-minute live musical stage show re-creates the extraordinary experience of seeing Sammy Davis, Jr. perform live!

Produced by Altovise Davis, who was married to Sammy Davis, Jr. from 1970 until his death in 1990.

The show opens with Sammy Davis Jr. performing the jazzy signature dance sequence to the song, Ain't I that opened every one of his televised performances. At the end of this dance, Mr. Davis strike a trademark pose, and this pose will come to represent "Mr. Bojangles," one of the two fascinating characters featured in the play. Mr. Bojangles will be with us throughout the evening, embodying the introspective side of Sammy Davis, Jr., well aware of the tremendous cost and fragile nature of success. Mr. Bojangles is discovered in a single brilliant circle of light, and delivers a haunting rendition of the song Mr. Bojangles. at the end of the song, the second live performer bursts onto the stage and performs an amazing tour de force tap number to the tune Smile Darn Ya Smile. Here is our second character -- "The Entertainer." The Entertainer takes us back to an earlier time in Sammy's career, a time when the dynamic, mercurial Sammy Davis Jr. strives to succeed and entertain without regard to cost. Mr. Bojangles and The Entertainer compete for the audience's accolades, using brilliant performances of some of Sammy's most beloved numbers - Hey There, Bye Bye Blackbird, Too Close For Comfort, Rockabye your Baby (With a Dixie Melody), and finally join forces in Something's Gotta Give.

Our two Sammys now alternate performing some of Sammy's most recognized song at their historical locales. Yes I Can as performed at the sands in 1966 is followed by Lonesome Road/Gonna Build a Mountain as performed on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. Then it's off to 1962 at the Cocoanut Grove for Once in a Lifetime. The Entertainer sings If I Ruled the World while a multiscreen phootmontage shows Sammy interacting with people from all walks of life. Mr. Bojangles performs I Want To Be With You on Broadway in Golden Boy in 1965. Then we're whisked back to 60's Las Vegas for a psychedlic rendition of The Shelter Of Your Arms. Now back to Broadway for What Kind Of Fool Am I? as performed in 1978 in Stop The World I Want To Get Off. Sammy's venture into films is celebrated with the song from Ocean's 11, EO Eleven. This series of recreations end with Sammy's energetic Lady Is A Tramp from the Hollywood Palace in 1967.

The triumphant finale begins with a tribute to songwriters Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley. If I Could Talk To The Animals is interrupted by Keep Your Eye On The Sparrow and the tribute is completed with Sammy's number 1 hit, The Candy Man. The Entertainer relives his childhood, dancing in the style of Bill Robinson, the original "Mr. Bojangles," and recreating the tap dances of his father and uncle in the days of the Will Mastin Trio. Mr. Bojangles then sings Birth Of The Blues and is joined by The Entertainer for a big finish. The grand finale sees Mr. Bojangles and The Entertainer joined by Sammy Davis, Jr. himself, closing the show with I Gotta Be Me that will have your patrons on their feet!

Over the evening, your audience will enjoy brilliant live renditions of 21 of Sammy's most famous songs, and will go on a journey through the nightclubs, concert halls, Broadway stage, films and casino showrooms of Sammy's amazing career. They will be enthralled by the moving story of the two sides of Sammy Davis, Jr., the man, and experience the ultimate triumph of the Worlds Greatest Entertainer.
